About the Role
As the first Senior Recruiter on our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading SewerAI’s growth goals for the year. You will work closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to create the strategy and roadmap to attract the best talent to SewerAI. In this role, you will help build recruiting strategies processes that will attract, evaluate, and hire the top talent for our company. You will own the recruiting process from start to finish and have complete ownership of any hiring strategies and initiatives to help us hit our goals.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with leadership and executives across the organization to understand their hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to achieve hiring goals
- Help initiate creative and scalable changes to our recruiting process
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates through sourcing, networking, and employer branding efforts
- Create and implement advertising strategies to attract candidates to each role that you own
- Phone screen candidates and assess for cultural and role fit
- Develop and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers, and universities boards
- Track and analyze metrics and report on hiring progress to business leadership on a regular basis
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews
- Proactively manage the entire lifecycle of the candidate from source to close while providing an exceptional white-glove experience for each candidate and hiring manager
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality candidate experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting experience in a high-growth startup or technology company/agency
- Minimum of 3+ years in a full-cycle recruiting role
- Proven ability to source, attract, and close top talent across multiple platforms, with an emphasis on go-to-market roles
- Experience in sourcing a variety of leveled positions (Senior to VP and Executives)
- Ability to build relationships and influence hiring managers and senior leaders
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (Rippling, Greenhouse, etc.), LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, AngelList and other sourcing tools
- Experience in developing recruiting strategies and processes for a smaller stage company
- An active and data driven approach to problem solving
- Proven track record of attracting passive top 1% of candidate pool

Salary & Perks
$100,000-$120,000 per year plus equity based remuneration

The pay range for this role is:
